Hi,
I am unable to connect by client-server to an oracle database remotely. The oracle forms application is installed locally on the remote PC. On the remote PC: (1)I pick mail the other LAN a(2) run oracle application through webserver (3)connect to database server vi sql (4) ping the server.
However, the client-server brings authentication screen but will not move further than this, not even return error message. Routing is done on the relevant routers as confirmed by the services already running. Could there be a port issue that needs addressing as there seems to be no return traffic to complete authentication? I would appreciate volunteers on this!
