hi, anyone help me with my problem??? how should i deal with this kind of problem???
ORA-12666: Dedicated server: outbound transport protocol different from inbound

I am using SCO Unix 7.1 and Oracle 7.3.4

yes, i've created the database link successfully.
but when i used it, the above error occcured.
"ora 12666"

check the protocols that are used in both databases ( local and remote).
the protocols you intend to use in an sql*net connection should match.
first try this.
after creating the db link test it.
select some_column from some_table@dbLink;
