i want to connect my oracle server(pune) from oracle server(Bombay)
so that if changes done in client side they also should be reflected to our
server.

both are having 8i installed on 2000 server.

there is something like Databse Link in Oracle 8i.

please let me know as soon as possible.

database links can be used to talk between two different database.
But it wont automatically 'reflect' the changes.
I beleive u are looking inot replication.
using the concept of replication the databases
can periodically synchronized automatically.
as per your
so that if changes done in client side they also should be reflected to our server
i dont get this.
work done in client is supposed to be reflected in the server..right?
