Hi all,
I urgently need your help. I am trying to find out parent/child relationship between the tables in my schema. Is there a view(s), perhaps, that will tell me that, for example, I cannot delete sales_order because there is sales_orde_detail and sales_order_size tables out there (as children)?

I don't know of any table that will provide the list you require, however, Sunil Kumar has written a routine that will provide you this information on a table by table basis. Check the code out here: http://www.orafaq.net/scripts/sql/fkeys.txt
