Hi All,

Having a small doubt.

If we have taken RMAN full DB backup at 11 AM, and added a new datafile at 11.30 AM.
And then taken only the LOG SEQUENCE backup.

If the DB crash at 12.30 PM and trying to restore the DB from backup.
Will it include the new datafile added.

Kindly guide us.

Regards

Yes, why don't you try it?

And, as gazzag suggested, better make a backup of your control file after adding a new file, it will ease the future operations.
