Hi,
I am facing the error ORA:01187. I am able to find out that the temp01.dbf is existing in my database but I am not able to query it.It gives no information regarding the datafile.Whenever I try to edit the datafile through OEM this error message pops up.Even the Temp tablespace where this datafile is to be present, is showing no information. Do i have to recreate the Temp tablespace?Will that work? will that change my control file? Do I have to keep backup of control file before going for this?

Try querying DBA_TEMP_FILES.
