Hello,

I have a P3 machine with NT as OS. I installed Oracle 8.0.5 and 8i succesfully in the past months using their respective OUI. Now I wanted to install a 9i R2 client (I am a software engineer and need to test different platforms and versions).
While installing, the OUI hung on copy of i18n.jar
I cancelled and retried. But now the OUI won't even start. It's always saying that there is a problem while writing C:TEMPOraInstall... directory. It asks to make sure it is not read only and that at least 32 Mb is available. I have about 500 Mb left on C: and the directory is perfectly read-writable.
This problem keeps on occuring. I even tried to manually delete all references to the new oracle_home (including the ones in the registry), but it doesn't work.

Can anyone suggest me what I forgot to do or what I can do to solve this?

Increased virtual memory to about 500 Megs.
Still doesn't work.
I have all rights needed. (I am administrator of the PC).

Greetings,
