Hi
I have developed an application using Visual Basic 6 with Oracle 8.1.7.
Currently, My Client is upgrading from Oracle 8.1.7 to Oracle 9i do i need to do any changes in My VB Application or would it be compatable.
Could you advise me what are the main steps to taken care of.

Hi
there is no need to change your VB apps
just put the parameter
Compatable = 8 in init.ora
