Hi,

I installed oracle9i and created a database in my PC successfully. But when I open the OEM console and attempt to login to the instance I setup earlier, TNS: No listener error occurs. I used the sys as sysdba to login. However, I am able to login to oracle using SQL*Plus successfully and startup the database. Does anyone know how to resolve this. Any help is hightly appreciated.

Thanks
Deepak

for OEM u must first install OMS(oracle management server).
then you need to create a repository.
then login into OEM consoel and detect the particapting
nodes and databases.
Then u can startup/shutdown / manage databases.
