Hi!
When I'am in svrmgrl and try to connect as internal its asking me for a password - strange 'cause I had never setup a password for 'internal' oracle user.
And so I cannot startup Oracle which has been down. Any ideas on how I can connect as internal whithout svrmgrl asking me the password (or) how I can startup Oracle without connecting as internal.
Thanks in advance.

Hi! Thanks for the help. I have the problem solved now. The problem was that there was no dba group in /etc/group and so oracle's internal user was not being given permissions to connect.

Hi there..
May be you have not logged in as oralce (the installation login). Loggin as the oracle installation login and this should solve ur problem.
